Elon MHE

Through my Master's of Arts in Higher Education, I have been able to take in knowledge and learn skills of effective higher education professionals.


In collaboration with two of my friends and colleagues from graduate school, we wrote a blog post for the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) about starting our careers as Black higher education professionals in an era of COVID-19 and racial unrest.



The North Carolina Alpha Cookout and School Supply Drive was established in the summer of 2016. We have served the public schools in Durham, Raleigh, and Charlotte by collecting school supplies from hundreds of community members.

This blog is meant to shine a light on what recruitment looks like for culturally-based fraternal organizations and how walls have been built up between members and those who are considering membership.



This project discusses potential for research to be done looking at Black male mentor groups in relation to race salience and Leadership Identity Development (LID).

In this conversation on the YOUniversity podcast with Annmarie Chereso, we talk about systemic racism, learning from our individual and collective mistakes, and feedback as an act of love.



This undergraduate research project was focused on modeling Major League Baseball salaries. Attached you can find the presentation and research paper.
